Visitors to this year’s annual UK Clinical Research Facility network conference were able to catch up with some of the patient and public involvement projects that took place at the Imperial Clinical Research Facility over the past year.
There were two posters accepted for display from our Arthritis and Research workshop in April, “Imperial CRF – Improving Patient and Professional Engagement in Arthritis Clinical Research – UKCRF Conference” by Dr Mark Lythgoe and “Imperial CRF – Unmet Needs in Arthritis Research” by our Patient and Public Involvement Manager, Danielle Neal. Both posters also involved Dr Sonya Abraham from the ICRF, and Kate Wighton and Dr Gill Hood from the NWL Local Clinical Research Network.
The Microprobe Clinical Advisory Group has been working with diabetes researchers and Danielle for several years, and the story behind the group and their success was also on display. This poster was co-authored with the members of the group and Dr Ahmed El-Laboudi from Imperial College London.Imperial CRF posters on display at the UK Clinical Research Facilities Conference
