Imperial College Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC) Staff
All researchers from Imperial College London and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust are welcome to apply to run a study within the CRF.
Commercial Companies and External Researchers
The Imperial CRF welcomes applications from external researchers and commercial companies. The sponsor company must identify a Principal Investigator within the Imperial College AHSC before the study may begin.
Study Acceptance Criteria
If your study meets the following criteria you may apply:
General Criteria: The Imperial CRF is funded by the National Institute of Health Research to support experimental medicine studies i.e. investigations in humans to identify the cause of disease and/or to test the validity and importance of new discoveries and treatments. This includes the following study categories:
- Phase 0
- Phase I
- Phase IIa
- Experimental medicine (non-trial)
- Non drug interventions
- Biomarker
- Diagnostic
- Device
- Epidemiological
- Observational
- Screening
Clinical Trials Criteria:
- Early-phase studies (Phase IIa and earlier),
- Experimental medicine studies that are nested within later-phase studies and require specialised facilities/staff/equipment.
- The high-intensity or high-complexity elements only of later-phase studies
